Chick-a-Dee`s Family Restaurant in Eau Claire

This place is great. Fried fish was some of the best I’ve ever had.The fresh still warm rhubarb cobbler was to die for. I tried to get the owner/cook to marry me but she was already taken. Owner and wait staff very helpful and pleasant. Will different go back and soon.

I like this place because it's a small little place for you to come with your family and even if it's crowded and packed you can't really tell idk why but I just feel like home there!☺Their service is always good when we go their. And egg Benedict is amazing like omg👌 Me and my mom usually split pancakes when we go their and their never burnt or over done! They give you multiple flavors for syrup and A lot of jams for your choice. They have orange juice since its a breakfast place and it's only open early so NOT at 3 p.m or anything like that! And I like how they decorate for the holidays with A lot of stuff! I really like their Halloween decorations 🎃 They put cool people in this one booth! Just love it👍💖 Its pretty much just a amazing breakfast place in eau Claire that you and your family should go to! I'm not their right now when I'm writing this so I dont have any pictures.

By far BEST BREAKFAST in town!! The rest of the menu is tip top....fish fry, deep fried gizzards, homemade house salad dressing...YUMMMM.....I eat here almost every time I’m in Eau Claire. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl. I’m pretty sure there’s a couple of the same waitresses working 30+ years. Great price. They even have Dum-Dum suckers for an after meal treat! My kids love this place, my mom, literally the whole family loves Chick-A-Dee’s. I hope it’s around another 40+ years right in the same tiny spot! 🙏🏻

One of the best hometown cooking restaurant in the area. The prices are very reasonable with excellent portion sizes. The breakfast menu is great and the staff is as well. New owners as of 2019, and they have the entire family working during the weekends which is great to see. Definitely a must stop during breakfast/brunch hours.

The prices where very good. The food was great. The staff was very friendly. The owners are a hoot! And if you are fortunate enough to meet the mini owners hold on to your hat, they are the best!!

Great food. Cozy atmosphere. The waitress we had was so sweet! The portions were amazing. I ordered the Friday night Fish special. I couldn't even finish it! It was delicious and well made.

Had a wonderful steak and eggs, it was a delicious breakfast, price is Right, had to leave a generous tip. I want to buy they long sleeve t-shirt. WOW.

I've ate here for years..Their Fri.night Fish Fry's are to die for. Meals are very very reasonable! Decor is old but clean. Waitress and Cooks are fast with food. Service is excellent.

The people were so nice in there. They have the most delicious fish on Friday we had the fried fish. They ran out of the baked fish

A great small family diner! We came from Chicago to visit our son, who plays ball in Eau-Claire. He suggested this place. Our family met owner and she very nice.

New owner yet everything is staying the same. Couldn't ask for anything more. Inexpensive breakfast. Quick place to eat. This place is the place to go to if you want to go somewhere for breakfast but don't know where. The staff is nice and quick at everything. I love this place.

Amazing breakfast! I regret not visiting here years earlier, as I have obviously been missing out all this time. Great prices and crazy fast service. I mean I barely had 2 sips of my coffee and the waitress was already back with our meals. The food tasted great and exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend chick-a-dees and will definitely return.

Very affordable! Most of the menu items (at least for breakfast) are under $9. They have great specials for early birds under $6. I had platter of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toast, and hashbrowns for just $5.75. Pretty good! Basically, a very good restaurant if you want decent food for great prices. It's a small and cozy place.

The food and service were good. We went in for breakfast with a group of family, and actually went back for lunch the same day. We would’ve been spending a lot of time there eating, as our father is in the hospital for a while. They advertise their restaurant as a “Family” restaurant. Not sure why they feel the need to put drawings of naked women in the men’s bathroom. What does that have to do with a diner. What part of “ Family” don’t they understand. I won’t be a return customer.

Great diner that serves excellent breakfast. Little has changed here atmosphere wise in the last 40 years, so you will have nice laid back experience of what a diner should be.My only wish was that they were open later during the week(they close at 2pm).

They're always very timely and have GREAT staff with personable customer service skills. Food is always excellent and cost is minimal compared to the other family eateries in Eau Claire.

Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. It's an old school diner. Plenty of locals frequent the establishment. The food didn't necessarily look like it was made from scratch (eg cheese slice used on omelet). Pancakes were fabulous. There is only on street parking available. I would go back.

Went here for the first time yesterday and wasn’t disappointed! Everyone was SO friendly and the food was delicious. Huge portions and great prices. Small, casual, quaint little place. Will definitely be back. 🙂

My family and I loved this restaurant while visiting Wisconsin. We were in and out of there is less then an hour, the staff were considerate and thoughtful of our tired road trip brains and the food was delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Best cafe/breakfast in Eau Claire with a locally owned and operated by the entire family. The service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. They give you the entire pot of coffee to sip on and have conversation. Different than Altoona Family because they don't rush you in and out and hours are more limited making it overall better.

Great choice for breakfast in Eau Claire! Healthy sized portions and pretty good value for the money. Tasty and traditional diner fare. Parking isn't the most convenient here as it is street only.

Had the Eggs Benedict with hash browns. One of the best in town. Lots of good items on the menu. Friday night Fish Fry is the best. Will be back again.

First we were seated by a very young child, but figured it's family run or something.. Then after 10 min still didn't have menus and i mentioned to the people with that " we don't have menus yet, hope they come soon" the waitress apparently was at the table next to us. I didn't know she was until she yelled at me the we would have menus real soon. And she walked away to the front of the restaurant. She started arranging cups and such and was not getting menus so our party of 4 quietly got up and walked out. Next thing i know there's the waitress again, running after us outside and yelling that she was gonna bring us a menu. I said no thanks. And we kept walking she kept yelling. We didn't look back. It was a crazy experience to say the least
